The E40 series

These prints were the second series of digital prints I made but were the first to be made entirely by digital means.

They were shown at the Colville Gallery, London in 1998 the show was called “Making Waves”.  This gallery was probably the first gallery in the world to specialise in showing digital prints by artists as opposed to illustrators.

Each is an edition of 25.

Prints can be ordered individually and printed to archival standard.

The maximum size is: 420 mm X 280 mm                                   © Andrew Greaves 1998

E2-21 series

This work was made whilst starting to experiment with the digital medium.

Whilst nor actually making a series I think they still have properties which continue to interest me in my work today.

Each is an edition of 25.

Prints can be ordered individually and printed to archival standard.

The maximum size is: 600 mm X 450mm slighly smaller than the later work.

The print imagery here was derived from the the slides of the Peterborough installation of 1994. They were made in 1996 and were the first to introduce digital elements into my working practice. The colour was applied  digitally to the scanned original 5 x 4 ” negatives which were black and white. This emphasises the texture of the form’s edges against  the flatness of the rest of the image.

Each is an edition of 25.

Prints can be ordered individually and printed to archival standard.

The maximum size is: 600 mm X 450mm slighly smaller than the later work.
