This mixed media work signalled my move away from constructed pieces but the actual imagery has always continued to be part of my iconography and therefore  remaining a seminal force for my future output. The shinier forms were considered too slick at the time when more earthy images were popular.

This work was made in the late 1960s. Most of it no longer http://premier-pharmacy.com/product-category/cancer/ exists but some moulds survive.

Some pieces were shown in the original Arts Laboritory in Drury Lane, London and also at the opening of the 2nd Arts Laboratory,  Euston.
